POST-GAME QUOTES

John Tortorella on tonight’s game…

“We held them to six scoring chances throughout the game. I thought we struggled a little bit with their speed throughout the neutral zone. They have a defensive game which is probably the best in the League as far as transition. That’s where I thought we struggled through a lot of the game – controlling their speed through the neutral zone, but we defended well. They beat us in the shootout. It’s probably two of the best in the shootout as far as goaltending and (Marc-Andre) Fleury wins this one.”

Henrik Lundqvist on Ryan Callahan and Brandon Dubinsky…

“It was great to see them back. They played really well. You have to remember they have been out for a long time. They did a good job.”

Ryan Callahan on his goal in the second period…

“It was a big goal, heading into the third period. I thought we played well in the third, but it came down to a shootout. Hank stood on his head and, we have to get one for him there.”
