PLAYER MOVES IN GREENVILLE

GREENVILLE, SC – The Greenville Road Warriors announced today three transactions prior to their home game against the Gwinnett Gladiators.

Goalie Cameron Talbot has been reassigned to the Road Warriors from the Connecticut Whale by the New York Rangers. A rookie, Talbot has a record of 8-3-2 with the Whale this season along with a 2.42 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage. The 23-year-old goalie was signed by the Rangers on May 30, 2010 out of the University of Alabama-Huntsville. Last season Talbot, 6-3, 185 pounds, was named the MVP of the College Hockey America tournament and led Alabama-Huntsville to its second NCAA tournament appearance. His .925 goals-against average during the season was sixth best in the NCAA.

Forward Stefan Legein has been reassigned by the Philadelphia Flyers to the Adirondack Phantoms from Greenville. Legein skated two games with Greenville last weekend and was held without a point. He registered four shots in two games against South Carolina and had an even plus/minus rating. Legein has 13 points (5G, 8A) in 31 games with Adirondack this season. In the 2009-10 campaign he finished second on the Phantoms with 24 goals.

Additionally, the Road Warriors called up forward Neil Graham from Augusta of the Southern Professional Hockey League. It is Graham’s second tour of duty with the Road Warriors after skating in five games from December 31, 2010 to January 8, 2011. He has not recorded a point in nine ECHL games this season which include for games with the South Carolina Stingrays in November 2010. Graham is the top goal scorer for Augusta with 20 and is second on the RiverHawks with 43 points.
