RANGERS RECALL TIM GETTINGER FROM HARTFORD

NEW YORK, November 25, 2018 – New York Rangers General Manager Jeff Gorton announced today that the team has recalled forward Tim Gettinger from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Gettinger was credited with five hits while making his NHL/Rangers debut on Nov. 24 vs. Washington. The 6-6, 220-pounder has skated in 20 AHL games with the Wolf Pack this season, registering seven goals and four assists for 11 points, along with six penalty minutes. At the time he was initially recalled by the Rangers on Nov. 23, Gettinger was tied for first among AHL rookies in goals in 2018-19. In addition, Gettinger was tied for first on the Wolf Pack in goals, was tied for second on the team in shots on goal (42), and was tied for third on Hartford in power play goals (two) at the time he was initially recalled by the Rangers on Nov. 23.
