GRAHAM SPRINGFIELD-BOUND

Headshot_grahamDue to a shortage of forwards with Hugh Jessiman joining the list of the wounded with a groin injury, and Brodie Dupont potentially sidelined, (more on that at game-time) the need for another healthy forward was necessitated and thus the call was made to recall Bruce Graham.

Hee will be in the line-up for tonight’s game on the road in Springfield. It’s a big game for the Wolf Pack who hold but a single point advantage over third place Portland for the coveted home ice advantage in what will be their upcoming play-off series. The Pack also hold a game in hand.

Here’s the official announcement:

Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the parent New York Rangers have reassigned center Bruce Graham to the Wolf Pack from the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL.

In 23 games with the Wolf Pack this year, Graham, a third-year pro, has scored one goal and added five assists for six points and registered six penalty minutes. The former New York Ranger second-round selection (51st overall in 2004) has posted totals of 11-18-29, with 56 PIM, in 36 ECHL games with the Checkers.
