LUNDMARK’S HIS SPOT…IN CALGARY

1903227Former Rangers first round selection and Wolf Pack player Jaime Lundmark has signed a one year two way contract with the Calgary Flames according to the Calgary Sun and TSN.ca.

Lundmark who was picked ninth overall in 1999 was indicitive of past high round picks that were seen as busts as Rangers prospects. For his career, in 164 games, the 6’0 200 pounder has notched 27g, 44a, for 61 points in 164 games. A native of Edmonton, Alberta Canada, Lundmark played in 114 contests with the Rangers and 165 for the Pack and never materialized into the player he was projected to be.

On October 18, 2005 he was traded to Phoenix for then washout Jeff Taffe who also never did much for the Rangers (2 games no points) / Pack (36 games 6g, 16a, 22 points).
