CAMP OPENS AT THE XL

Hartford_puckThe Rangers have made the bulk of their cuts and set the stage for the start of the 12th season of Hartford Wolf Pack hockey.

The team has just released the roster of invitees for the start of tomorrow’s camp at the XL Center.

Training Camp Workouts Kick off Saturday at 10:00 AM at XL Center

HARTFORD, September 26, 2008: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack will have 47 players on hand when they begin their 2008 training camp tomorrow, Saturday, September 27th at the XL Center.

The roster of players is as follows:

Goal (5): Andrew Gallant, Martin Houle, Jeff Jakaitis, Antoine Lafleur, Matt Zaba
Defense (15): Julien Brouillette, Michael Busto, Vladimir Denisov, Tysen Dowzak, Ethan Graham, Maxim Kondratiev, Lyon Messier, Chris Murray, Jared Nightingale, Thomas Pöck, Kyle Radke, David Rutherford, Bobby Sanguinetti, Michael Sauer, David Urquhart
Forwards (27): Artem Anisimov, Joe Barnes, Will Bodine, Dane Byers, Peter-James Corsi, Sergei Demagin,
Brodie Dupont, Matt Ford, Evgeny Grachev, Marty Guerin, Ryan Hillier, Andreas Jämtin, Hugh Jessiman, Michel Leveille, Greg Moore, Ben Nelson, Mike Ouellette, Jordan Owens, Guillaume Parenteau, P.A. The first on-ice session begins at 10:00 AM on Saturday.

The Wolf Pack will have four days (Saturday through this Tuesday, September 30th) of training camp sessions before beginning their preseason schedule Wednesday, October 1st, vs. the Worcester Sharks at the Koeppel Community Sports Center, located on the campus of Trinity College in Hartford. Faceoff for that game is 7:00 PM.

  1. Bodine has more or less been converted to forward as he is a goon. Huge kid who will throw down with anyone and several memorable fights against the Checkers last season.
