WOLF PACK CONTINUE TO RAISE THE BAR ON RAISING MONEY

Congratulations
are in order for the entire Wolf Pack organization, from the front office to
the players and everyone in between. The results of the two fundraisers the
team had this past weekend were very good and once again demonstrated the team’s
commitment to the community at large.

AEG announced today that a pair of Hartford Wolf Pack Community Foundation
fund-raisers this week raised a total of over $22,000 for a pair of worthy
causes.

This
past Sunday, November 9th, the entire Wolf Pack team participated in the Wolf Pack
Community Foundation’s annual “Bowl-a-Thon” at AMF Silver Lanes in East
Hartford.  That event raised a total of
$21,994 for Special Olympics Connecticut, through pledges solicited by the
four-person bowling teams.

Then,
last night, selected Wolf Pack players took part in a night of glow-in-the-dark
mini-golf with young fans, in the Pack’s first-ever “Monster Mini-Golf”
event.  Held at Monster Mini-Golf in
Windsor Locks, that outing generated $330 for Connecticut Children’s Medical
Center.

Over
the course of the Wolf Pack’s history, the Wolf Pack Community Foundation has
donated more than $1.1 million in funds to various local charitable
causes.  The mission statement for the
Community Foundation is, “To help fund charitable and non-profit endeavors that
offer support to inner-city youth, amateur sport, and promote the health,
education, and well-being of Connecticut’s children.”
