ANDREW CARROLL CALLED UP TO AHL

The Greenville Road Warriors announced today that Andrew Carroll has been loaned to the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League. Carroll played four games for the Wolf Pack last season and was held off the scorer’s sheet.

After Dov Grumet-Morris, Carroll becomes the second player in Road Warriors’ history to be called up to the American Hockey League. Coming into this weekend Carroll leads the Road Warriors in nearly every major offensive category including goals (6), points (8), and power play goals (3). The second-year pro out of the University of Minnesota-Duluth is making his second trip up to the American Hockey League. Last season Carroll spent four games with the Hartford Wolf Pack registering seven penalty minutes.

Tonight is the Road Warriors’ House Divided Night! All college students who present their college ID at the BI-LO Center Box Office can get a ticket for just $6. All fans in attendance will also be getting two games for the price of one. Clemson and the U. of South Carolina will be playing a regular season game immediately following the Road Warriors and Gladiators. Don’t forget about the Friday Family Four-Pack which features four tickets, four hot dogs, four pretzels, four bags of chips, and four sodas for just $48.
