Henrik Lundqvist recorded an assist on Brandon Dubinsky’s goal at 4:15 of the first period to extend his assist streak to three games, and become the first Rangers goalie ever to record an assist in three straight games (goalie games played, not team games).
The last NHL goalie with an assist in three straight games was Ed Belfour, from November 23, 2001 to December 2, 2001.
