This is going to sound harsh, but this move helps the Whale. While he is a tremendous individual, Johnson has struggled with consistency all season long. He’s surrendered a lot of soft goals and his puck control at it’s best has been shaky.
Johnson is 16-19-3 with a 2.72GAA and a .901% in 40 games for the Whale.
Talbot meanwhile in 13 games this season has an 8-3-2 record and a 2.42GAA and a .919%.
Grumet-Morris is 4-3-1 with a 2.16GAA and a .919%.
