CARL HAGELIN COMING TO HARTFORD

The Rangers will be announcing shortly that they have signed standout left winger, Carl Hagelin to an entry level contract and that he will join the Connecticut Whale for their playoff run.

Hagelin was a 6th round pick (168th overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

Hagelin has been a big time player in college hockey. This past season, the 22 year old from Sodertalje, Sweden potted 18g and 31 helpers for 49pts in 44 games.

How much Hagelin gets into actual games is anyone’s guess.

Here are his actual stats. The Rangers release will be posted as soon as it’s available.
