ZUCCARELLO DONE FOR THE SEASON

CaptureAs Howlings reported last night, Mats Zuccarello sustained a serious injury in the first period of Game Five against the Portland Pirates.

The word out of the various New York media websites that it has been confirmed that “The Norwegian Hobbit” broke his hand, likely from a slash that went uncalled, and is done for the season.

Zuccarello will be seeing a hand specialist to see if surgery is necessary, but it is fully believed that the rookie will be ready on time for his second season with the New York Rangers organization by training camp regardless.
