EX-WHALE BROUILLETTE IN FOR GAME 7

GREENVILLE, SC The Greenville Road Warriors announced today that defenseman Julien Brouillette has been loaned to the club by the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League.

Brouillette, 24, returns to Greenville for the first time since a call up to Lake Erie on December 14, 2011. He last played for the Road Warriors in a 5-2 win over the Florida Everblades on December 11, 2010 and had two goals and an assist in the game. He was selected as a starter for the 2011 ECHL All-Star Classic as he racked up 23 points (11G, 12A) and a +16 rating in just 25 games. His 11 goals were the sixth highest total among ECHL defensemen during the regular season despite playing just over a quarter of the schedule.

He was signed to an Professional Tryout Agreement by Lake Erie and went on to play in 49 regular season games with the Monsters. He had 17 points (2G, 15A) in that time and was signed to a standard AHL contract on February 3, 2011. Brouillette registered two points (1G, 1A) in seven playoff games with the Monsters who were eliminated by the Manitoba Moose in Game Seven of their first round series last night.
