BRENDAN BELL IN – T.J. FAST OUT

The New York Rangers sent Brendan Bell to the Connecticut Whale. With one defenseman coming in, one had to go and according to the AHL Transactions page, the Whale have released T.J. Fast from his Professional Try-Out contract.

Sean Avery’s arrival to Connecticut is likely to end someone else’s time in Hartford. When Pavel Valentenko is able to play someone else may be headed to Greenville.
