NO POWER AT HOWLINGS CENTRAL

I apologize to all Howlings readers. We have been without power for quite some time due to the storm and were unable to post our story on the game with Adirondack. We are trying to figure out a way to work around it. Likely it will have to be posted tomorrow along with the story from tonight’s game with Worcester. Once again we apologize for any inconvenience.

    1. No official word from the team yet, but if I were guessing it would probably be Mitchell. There is an outside shot that it might be Avery and that the Rangers would take a shot at someone trying to claim him…but that seems VERY unlikely. It will need to be someone who can play on the 4th line. It would make no sense to me whatsoever to bring Zuccarello or Hagelin up to play six minutes a night. Mitchell can play on the 4th line. They also might not bring anyone up and figure on Mike Rupp moving back into the lineup. In terms of D there have been rumors that the Rangers have offered Anton Stralman a contract. Maybe he’s the choice? That much I don’t know…

  1. Looks like Deveaux from Hagelin’s tweet.

@CarlHagelin reports that the #NYR have recalled Andre Deveaux. Logical choice. He’s played well and fits in just fine as a 4th liner in NY 10 hours ago.

Guess Rupp’s knee is not quite there yet.

As for defense, we have Eminger at -8 and folks down here in NY worry about Woywitka’s readiness and abilities.
