RIOPEL BACK IN GREENVILLE

GREENVILLE, SC The Greenville Road Warriors announced today that goalie Nic Riopel has returned to the team from his loan to Bridgeport of the American Hockey League.

Riopel was loaned to the Sound Tigers on December 26, 2011 and backed each game that Bridgeport played. He returns to Greenville where he has build an 11-3-1 record and was named ECHL Goalie of the Week for the week ending November 13, 2011. His 11 wins lead the Road Warriors and rank fourth in the ECHL

The Road Warriors host the Florida Everblades tonight at 7:35 p.m. at the BI-LO Center. Come out for the Throwback Thursday presented by WSSL 100.5, The Greenville News, and New Rock 93.3.
