ROAD WARRIORS GOING GREEN ON SUNDAYS

The Greenville Road Warriors announced today that they will wear alternate green third jerseys for all of their Sunday home games this season. The Road Warriors‘ third jerseys are presented by Select Physical Therapy.

“We realize the importance of Sunday and families being together. That’s why we want to wear a special jersey on those days, it also celebrates the great family traditions here in Greenville,” said Road Warriors president and general manager Neil Smith.

The Road Warriors’ Family Fun Days on Sundays will feature $5 tickets for all children 12 years old and younger and a post-game skate with the Road Warriors players. For an hour after every Sunday game, fans can lace up their skates and take to the ice with their favorite Road Warriors players. Fans who do not have their own skates may rent a pair for $3.

The Road Warriors will don the green third jerseys for each of their four Sunday home games. After the final Sunday game on March 18 against Cincinnati, the jerseys will be auctioned off in a live post-game auction. The jerseys feature “GREENVILLE” spelled out diagonally across the front, the Road Warriors’ primary logo as the left shoulder patch, and Select Physical Therapy, the presenting sponsor of the third jerseys, as the right shoulder patch. The color scheme is patterned after the Road Warriors’ standard jersey but with green and white as the main colors instead of navy and white.

Mark your calendars! The Road Warriors face off against the Gwinnett Gladiators on Saturday, January 21 at 7:05 p.m. at the BI-LO Center. Get your group of 10 or more together to come out and enjoy a night with the Road Warriors. Groups qualify for discounts off of the box office price and preferred seating based on availability.
