CHAD JOHNSON – NY BOUND

New York RangersLarry Brooks reported on his Twitter page Tuesday that New York Rangers goaltender Marty Biron, who was scheduled to start for the Blueshirts tonight against the Winnipeg Jets has come down with the flu and will be out.

Taking Biron’s spot on the Rangers’ bench will be Chad Johnson, who has been recalled from the CTWhale.

Henrik Lundqvist will make the start between the pipes.

Game time is 7pm.

The Whale have reported that Erik Christensen has also been sent back to New York from his conditioning assignment.
