About Mitch’s collection
A PIECE OF HOCKEY HISTORY
Over the years, the Howlings’ offices have been called “The Rangers Museum.” That wasn’t much of an exaggeration. The Wall Street Journal has written about the collection, and Fox Business interviewed Mitch about it.
I’ve accumulated a large collection of hockey memorabilia over the years, particularly New York Rangers material, along with pieces connected to the 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team and other parts of hockey history. I’ve decided it’s time for a number of those pieces to find new homes.
ABOUT THE COLLECTION
This is a personal collection, not inventory purchased for resale. Most of these autographed pieces were signed for me in person during my years covering hockey as a credentialed reporter. Howlings has covered the New York Rangers and Hartford Wolf Pack since 2005.
Because Mitch obtained many signatures personally rather than through commercial signings, very few autographed items have a third-party certificate of authenticity; each listing will clearly state what is known about the item, its provenance, and whether any separate authentication accompanies it. Mitch will not represent something as authenticated if it isn’t.
