TOMORROW’S GAME:
The Rangers will face-off against the Calgary Flames tomorrow, Nov. 22, at Madison Square Garden (7:00 p.m.), in their third consecutive game vs. a Northwest Division opponent. The Blueshirts currently rank third in the Atlantic Division standings, and seventh in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 11-9-1 (23 pts). The Rangers enter tomorrow’s contest having defeated the Minnesota Wild, 5-2, on Saturday at the Xcel Energy Center, to improve to 5-0-0 in the second game of back-to-back sets. The Flames enter the contest with a 8-10-1 (17 pts) record to rank 14th in the Western Conference, and have lost four of their last five games (0-3-1). Following tomorrow’s contest, the Rangers will begin a three-game road trip when they face-off against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday, Nov. 24, at the St. Pete Times Forum (7:30 p.m.).

Over the last two seasons, New York is 14-2-2 in the back-end of back-to-back sets, including a 9-1-1 mark away from MSG over the span.

JOHN TORTORELLA REACHES 300 WINS
With Saturday’s 5-2 win at Minnesota, Rangers Head Coach John Tortorella recorded his 300th career NHL victory to become the 40th head coach in league history to reach the mark. Tortorella has posted a record of 300-274-37-52 in 663 career regular season games over 11 seasons with the Rangers and Tampa Bay Lightning, and ranks 12th among active NHL head coaches on the NHL’s all-time wins list and first among U.S.-born coaches with 300 career victories.

TEAM EFFORT
The Rangers have had eight different players credited with at least one game winning goal this season, which is tied for third most in the league. New York trails Washington (10) and Montreal (nine), and is tied with Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles, St. Louis, and Tampa Bay entering tonight’s action.

The Blueshirts currently lead the NHL with 359 blocked shots on the season, averaging a league-high, 17.1 blocked shots per contest. Dan Girardi ranks first in the NHL with 65 blocked shots, and Ryan Callahan leads all NHL forwards with 30 blocked shots.
