POST-GAME QUOTES
John Tortorella on tonight’s game…
“It is a huge point as long as we understand, and we go back to work tomorrow. And again, this team will respond. They haven’t played many bad ones. They haven’t played without energy many times this year. Tonight everybody didn’t (play with energy) and tonight we steal a point. We take the point, stuff it in your back pocket and move by this and get ready for a team that just spanked Montreal.”
Henrik Lundqvist on tonight’s game…
“We want to win every game now but at the same time some nights it is going to be tough to get the goals you want. It was good we battled back to tie. They worked hard. They still want to end the season on a good note. Same with next week with the Islanders. It is going to be a war.”
Ryan Callahan on tonight’s game…
“These are playoff games. We are battling for our lives right now. Each point means so much. The last couple of games we have approached them like playoff games. Tonight we just didn’t have the effort we needed.”
