Blueshirts trade Jimmy Vesey to Buffalo

NEW YORK, July 1, 2019 – New York Rangers General Manager Jeff Gorton announced today that the team has acquired a third-round pick in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for Jimmy Vesey.
Vesey skated in 240 games with the Rangers over three seasons (2016-17 – 2018-19), registering 50 goals and 40 assists for 90 points, along with 67 penalty minutes.
