WOLF PACK WEEKLY: October 20 – 26, 2008
The Wolf Pack ventured out on the road for the first time this past week, and fell short in a pair of tight games up in the Province of Ontario. The Hamilton Bulldogs handed the Pack a 2-0 defeat in Hamilton on Friday night, and the Wolf Pack fell to the Toronto Marlies Saturday in Toronto by a score of 4-1. Mike Ouellette scored the only goal for the team in the two games. It was his first tally of the year, and rookies Dale Weise and Justin Soryal both registered assists, for their first pro points. Matt Zaba tended goal for the Wolf Pack in Saturday’s game (3 GA on 20 shots), making his AHL debut.
This week:
After a trip to Worcester on Wednesday for a 7:05 game against the Sharks, the Wolf Pack return to the XL Center for back-to-back games Friday and Saturday. Friday night is “Pink in the Rink Night”, and a Guida’s Family Value Night, as the Pack host the Philadelphia Phantoms at 7:00. Saturday night the Manchester Monarchs come to town for a 7:00 faceoff.

• Worcester is off to a 1-2-0 start this season after scoring its first victory of the year Saturday, a 3-2 overtime triumph at home over Providence.
• Winger Jamie McGinn (2-1-3) leads a group of four players tied at three points each atop the Sharks’ scoring list. Former Wolf Pack Cory Larose is tied with McGinn for the team leadership in goals.

Also, fans who wear pink to the game will receive a discount of $5 off adult tickets in the Red or Blue sections. This discount offer is valid only on Friday and only at the XL Center box office.
• This night is also the first Friday “Guida’s Family Value Night” game of the season. Family Value packages start at $39 and include three tickets, three hot dogs or pizza slices, three sodas and a Wolf Pack souvenir. To order your Family Value Night pack, visit the XL Center box office, or go on-line to www.ticketmaster.com.
