GRAHAM SENT TO CHARLOTTE

Wolf Pack Logo The Hartford Wolf Pack today sent defenseman Ethan Graham back to Charlotte.

That leaves the Pack with six healthy defensemen and seven overall on the roster.

Corey Potter, Bobby Sanguinetti, Vladimir Denisov, Jared Nightingale, David Urquhart, and Michael Sauer.

Brian Fahey is currently out of action as he works his way back from a concussion that he received in Hershey on December 6th.

Head Coach Ken Gernander told Howlings after the Bridgeport game on December 26th that he was hoping that Fahey would be able to begin skating with his teammates after the holiday break.

The determination as to when he could play again was out of his hands. "We're not doctors," He said. "The team follows medical protocol in these situations and they'll let us know when he's okay to go."

Until that happens, the Pack will just stick with six defensemen.

It's safe to assume that if the team is cutting it that thin on the back line, that Fahey's return couldn't be that far off.

Howlings will update as information becomes available.

Here's the official release:

Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the team has loaned defenseman Ethan Graham to its ECHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.

Graham, a second-year pro out of Michigan State University, has skated in 27 games this year with the Wolf Pack and has registered one assist, 18 penalty minutes and a +5 rating.
