The Wolf Pack have recalled Ryan Hillier from Charlotte. It would appear that this move is to try and shake things up bit since nobody appears to be injured.

HARTFORD, October 19, 2009: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the parent New York Rangers have reassigned forward Ryan Hillier to the Wolf Pack from the team’s ECHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.
Hillier, a 21-year-old second-year pro, was assigned to Charlotte from the Wolf Pack’s training camp September 28. In the Checkers’ only regular-season game thus far, a 3-1 win at South Carolina Saturday, Hillier was scoreless with two shots on goal. In 66 ECHL games with Charlotte last season, the 6-1, 195-pound Halifax, N.S. native notched 10 goals and 16 assists for 26 points, and had 26 penalty minutes.
The Rangers selected Hillier in the third round (84th overall) of the 2006 NHL Draft, from Halifax of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. In 229 career QMJHL games over four seasons, Hillier registered 86 goals and 104 assists for 190 points, along with 223 PIM.
