The Wolf Pack (26-27-6-5, 63 pts.) remained in seventh place in the Atlantic Division, after posting a shootout loss and an overtime loss in two road games last week.  The Pack came back from two-goal deficits to gain a standings point in both games, a 3-2 shootout defeat Saturday at Hamilton and a 3-2 overtime loss in Toronto Sunday.  Newly-acquired center Kris Newbury had points in both games, with a goal and an assist, and Dale Weise netted his 20th goal of the season to tie Saturday’s contest.

This week:

The Wolf Pack complete a stretch of five straight road games with visits to Worcester Wednesday (7:05 PM faceoff) and Springfield Friday (7:30), before returning home to host the Lowell Devils at the XL Center Saturday night (7:00), on “Go Green Night”.

Wednesday, March 10 at Worcester (DCU Center), 7:05 PM

· The Wolf Pack are a perfect 4-0-0-0 this year against the Sharks, who lead the Atlantic Division with a record of 38-20-2-3 for 81 points.

· Worcester has won two of its last three games, but has triumphed in only three of its last eight (3-4-0-1).

· Shark co-leading goal-scorer Logan Couture (20-31-51 in 39 GP) has been back in the lineup for the last six games, after missing the previous 10 games due to injury.

· Radio – live with Bob Crawford in HD on WTIC’s 96.5 HD 2 and on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com and www.wtic.com.

Friday, March 12 at Springfield (MassMutual Center), 7:30 PM

· The last-place Falcons (21-33-9-3, 54 pts.) stand nine points behind the seventh-place Wolf Pack in the Atlantic Division.

· The Falcons have defeated the Wolf Pack in overtime in both of the last two meetings between the two teams, but the Pack have lost only once in regulation in six games against Springfield (3-1-2-0).  The Wolf Pack are 1-1-1-0 in three visits to Springfield this year.

· Charles Linglet, the Falcons’ leading scorer (18-49-67 in 66 GP), has a six-game point-scoring streak (4-7-11) working, and ranks fourth overall in the AHL in points.

· Radio – live with Bob Crawford in HD on WTIC’s 96.5 HD 2 and on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com and www.wtic.com.

· This is “Go Green Night” at the XL Center, as the Wolf Pack celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.  The Mighty Ploughboys will be performing live, and $3 green drafts and snacks will be available in the XL Center Atrium.

· The Devils currently hold down fourth place in the Atlantic Division, with a record of 33-24-4-4 for 74 points, nine points ahead of the Wolf Pack.

· The Wolf Pack are 3-3-0-0 on the season vs. Lowell, and the two clubs have split two previous meetings at the XL Center.

· The Devils’ leading point-getter, Ben Walter (19-26-45 in 63 GP), had the game-winning goal and an assist in the last clash between the Wolf Pack and Devils, a 4-3 Lowell home win last Sunday.
