POST-GAME QUOTES

John Tortorella on tonight’s game…

“The thing I like about it is that everybody contributes in all of the little things.  I think that is what is helping us in these type of games – the little things.  I think we are a good team.  More importantly, the players think they are a good team.  We played harder tonight than the Montreal game.  I don’t think we played bad against Montreal but tonight was a grittier effort and we battled.  We are growing as a team.”

Henrik Lundqvist on his 30th shutout…

“30 is a good number.  Hopefully I can keep it going a little bit longer.  Every shutout is important.  This was a good win to come back.  It is so important to respond with two points.  This helps us in the standings.”

Wojtek Wolski on tonight’s game…

“It was exciting.  The fans, our team and our coaching staff was involved and putting the effort into it.  We are excited to get the win.”
