Greenville Road Warriors

BY: Ray Schmitt, Voice of the Greenville Road Warriors

GREENVILLE, SC – The Greenville Road Warriors renew the Battle of the Palmetto State tonight when they host the South Carolina Stingrays at 7:35 p.m. at the BI-LO Center.

The Road Warriors (4-5-0) host South Carolina (8-3-0) tonight for the first of 16 scheduled meetings between the clubs. Last season the Road Warriors compiled a 9-8-0 record against South Carolina which included a 5-3-0 mark at the BI-LO Center. Greenville’s Jeff Prough will try to keep his recent hot streak going tonight, while South Carolina goalie Philipp Grubauer will try to do the same. After registering four goals and two assists in three games last week, Prough was named runner up for ECHL Player of the Week honors and Grubauer was named ECHL Goalie of the Week by winning all three of his starts including one by shutout.

Who: Greenville Road Warriors vs. South Carolina Stingrays
What: Home Game #8, Season Game #10
When: 7:35 p.m.
Where: BI-LO Center, 650 N. Academy St., Greenville, SC 29601.

NOTEWORTHY:
