HARTFORD, CT – The Wolf Pack (3-3-0-1, 7 pts., .500) played their first three-game weekend this past week and went 0-2-0-1 in the three contests. Hartford had a three-game winning streak snapped Friday night in their first-ever meeting with the Belleville Senators, falling by a score of 5-1. On Saturday night at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, the Wolf Pack jumped out to a 2-0 lead, on first-period power-play goals by Scott Kosmachuk and Vinni Lettieri, only to see the Penguins come back to win 3-2 in a shootout. Goaltender Alexandar Georgiev made 41 saves in that game. Then on Sunday, in their first encounter with in-state rival Bridgeport, the Wolf Pack dropped a 6-3 road decision to the Sound Tigers, despite both Brandon Crawley and Vince Pedrie both scoring their first pro goals.

This week:
It’s another three-games-in-three-days stretch for the Wolf Pack this weekend, consisting entirely of Atlantic Division action. Friday night brings a rematch with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, a 7:15 PM contest at the XL Center. Hartford then heads back to the Keystone State for a pair of road games, 7:05 Saturday night at Lehigh Valley and a 5:00 Sunday tilt in Hershey.
Friday, October 27 vs. the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (Islanders) at the XL Center, 7:15 PM
- At this game and all Wolf Pack Friday-night home games, fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and $2 beers through the start of the second period, presented by Dave & Buster’s.
- This night also features a “Howl-o-ween” celebration. Youngsters can enjoy trick-or-treating on the XL Center concourse and take part in a costume parade during one of the intermissions.
- Rookie defenseman Mitch Vande Sompel helped lead the way for the Sound Tigers in their 6-3 home win over the Wolf Pack Sunday, netting his first pro goal and adding an assist. Michael Dal Colle and Tanner Fritz also had a goal and an assist apiece for Bridgeport.
- Sunday’s victory snapped a three-game losing streak for the Sound Tigers, who improved to 2-4-0-0 in six games on the year.
- This will be the first of five visits to the XL Center for Bridgeport this season. The Wolf Pack were 1-2-1-0 at home in last year’s season series, and 2-4-1-1 overall vs. the Sound Tigers.

Saturday, October 28 at the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (Philadelphia) at the PPL Center, 7:05 PM
- This is the second game of six of the year between the Wolf Pack and Lehigh Valley, and Hartford’s first of three trips to Allentown. In the year’s first meeting between the two clubs, October 8 at the XL Center, the Wolf Pack prevailed 2-1 in a shootout. The Wolf Pack won three of their four visits to the PPL Center last season and posted a 4-4-0-0 overall record in the season series.
- Their shootout loss to the Wolf Pack is one of only two non-wins on the season for the 5-1-0-1 Phantoms, who have won four straight coming into this week.
- Lehigh Valley forward, Danick Martel, is tied for the AHL lead in goals and is one off the league lead in points, with 7-3-10 in seven games.

Sunday, October 29 at the Hershey Bears (Capitals) at Giant Center, 5:00 PM
- The Bears are off to a 1-4-0-1 start through six games, after a three-game Midwest trip this past week. Hershey lost 4-1 Thursday night at Milwaukee, won in Grand Rapids Saturday night, 4-2, and was blanked 5-0 Sunday by the IceHogs in Rockford.
- This game begins a six-game season series between the Wolf Pack and Bears and is the Wolf Pack’s first of three road games in the matchup. Last season the two clubs met eight times, and the Wolf Pack were 3-4-1-0, with a 1-2-1-0 record to show for four visits to Giant Center.
- Chandler Stephenson, who had a hat trick and four points in Hershey’s 4-2 victory in Grand Rapids Saturday night, and has six points on the season (5-1-6), shares the Bear points lead with former Wolf Pack Chris Bourque (2-4-6).

Saturday, November 25, when the Wolf Pack host the Hershey Bears at 7:00 PM, it’s a “Red Out” night at the XL Center, as the first 4,500 fans receive a free red Wolf Pack t-shirt, courtesy of CT-DOT. Also that night, it’s the Wolf Pack’s annual “Teddy Bear Toss”. Fans are asked to bring soft toys to the game, to toss onto the ice when the Wolf Pack score their first goal. The toys collected will be donated to Operation ELF and Toys for Tots.
Once again this season, fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and $2 beers at every Friday Wolf Pack home game, through the start of the second period, presented by Dave & Buster’s. After this Friday, the Wolf Pack’s next Friday-night date is December 15, when they host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 7:15 PM.
Each of the Wolf Pack’s Sunday and Wednesday home games will feature the Wolf Pack’s “Click It or Ticket Family Value Pack”. The Family Value Pack includes two tickets, two sodas and two hot dogs, all for just $35. The next Family Value Pack game is Sunday, November 5, when the Springfield Thunderbirds visit for a 5:00 PM tilt.
Every Wolf Pack Wednesday home game is a “Winning Wednesday”. If the Wolf Pack win at home on a Wednesday, fans can show their Winning Wednesday ticket at the Agera Energy Ticket Office at the XL Center and receive a free ticket to the next Wolf Pack home game (some restrictions apply). The Wolf Pack’s first Wednesday home outing of the season is November 15, a 7:00 PM game vs. the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
