East Lyme, CT Native has Five Points in Six Games with Mariners

HARTFORD, November 3, 2019:  Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Chris Drury announced today that the Wolf Pack has recalled forward Ryan Dmowski from its ECHL affiliate, the Maine Mariners.

Dmowski, a rookie out of U. Mass-Lowell who hails from East Lyme, CT, has one goal and four assists for five points, along with eight penalty minutes and a +6, in six games with Maine.  Those numbers tie him for second on the team in assists, plus/minus and PIM, and for fourth in points.

Dmowski, who is 22 years old and stands 6-0 and weighs 218 pounds, was signed to an AHL contract by the Wolf Pack April 4, 2019.  He skated in ten games with the Wolf Pack at the end of the 2018-19 campaign, following the completion of his college career.  Dmowski scored one goal and added three assists for four points in AHL action, while serving four penalty minutes and putting 22 shots on net.  In 37 games with U. Mass-Lowell as a senior, Dmowski notched a team-leading 14 goals, along with nine assists for 23 points, good for second on the team, plus 16 penalty minutes.

In 132 career contests over four seasons as a River Hawk, Dmowski tallied 37 goals and 30 assists for 67 points, along with 54 PIM.

Prior to his college career, and one year in the USHL with the Des Moines Buccaneers, Dmowski played three seasons (2011-12 through 2013-14) of prep school hockey at The Gunnery in Washington, CT.

The Wolf Pack are back on home ice at the XL Center for their next action, this Friday, November 8, a 7:15 PM game vs. the Hershey Bears.  Once again this season, all Friday-night Wolf Pack home games feature $1 hot dogs and $2 beers through the start of the second period, presented by Nomads Adventure Quest.

DMOWSKI RECALLED TO HARTFORD
Wolf Pack call upon rookie forward

PORTLAND, ME – November 3, 2019 – The Hartford Wolf Pack recalled forward Ryan Dmowski on Sunday. Dmowski is riding a four game point streak with the Mariners, which he extended with an assist last night. It will be his second career stint with the Wolf Pack, the team with whom he is under contract.

Dmowski, a 22 year old rookie forward from East Lyme, CT, signed an amateur tryout agreement (ATO) with the Wolf Pack last Spring after finishing his college career at U-Mass Lowell. Dmowski led the River Hawks in goals in both his junior and senior seasons, with 11 and 14 goals respectively. He played 10 games at the end of 2018-19 in Hartford, scoring one goal while adding three assists. The Wolf Pack signed him to an AHL deal in mid-July.

With the Mariners, Dmowski has one goal and four assists in six games. All five points have come in his last four. Dmowski scored his first ECHL goal at Adirondack on October 23rd, also adding an assist that night. He has registered an assist in each of the three games since.

The Mariners are back home next Saturday night for Military Appreciation Night presented by Martin’s Point in partnership with Bath Iron Works. The first 2,000 fans through the door will receive an exclusive Mariners winter “lobster” beanie, courtesy of Martin’s Point. It’s also a “Family Four Pack” game: families of four can get four tickets, four food and drink vouchers, and four Mariners can koozies for as low as $80. Family four packs must be purchased in advance. The Mariners are also home on Monday, November 11th at 7:00 PM against the Reading Royals.
