HARTFORD WOLF PACK SIGN D ETHAN FRISCH TO ONE-YEAR DEAL

HARTFORD, CT – New York Rangers Associate General Manager and Hartford Wolf Pack General Manager Ryan Martin announced today that the club has signed defenseman Ethan Frisch to a one-year contract for the 2026-27 season.
Frisch, 25, recorded two assists in ten games with the AHL’s Manitoba Moose during the 2025-26 season. Prior to that, he played parts of three seasons with the AHL’s San Jose Barracuda, appearing in 125 games with the club.
As a member of the Barracuda, Frisch scored 28 points (4 g, 24 a).
Prior to turning pro, the native of Moorhead, MN, played four seasons of college hockey at the Univ. of North Dakota. There, he scored 48 points (20 g, 28 a) in 127 games.
Frisch was named the NCHC’s Best Defensive Defenseman following the 2021-22 campaign and was named the NCHC’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year following the 2022-23 season.

HARTFORD WOLF PACK INK F JUSTIN NACHBAUR
HARTFORD, CT – New York Rangers Associate General Manager and Hartford Wolf Pack General Manager Ryan Martin announced today that the club has signed forward Justin Nachbaur to a one-year contract for the 2026-27 season.
Nachbaur, 26, split the 2025-26 season between the AHL’s Hershey Bears and the ECHL’s South Carolina Stingrays. With the Bears, Nachbaur appeared in 31 games. During that span, he scored three points (2 g, 1 a) and added a career-high 114 PIM.
With the Stingrays, he notched two goals in 16 games and finished the ECHL regular season with 60 PIM. In ten Kelly Cup Playoff games with the Stingrays, Nachbaur recorded six points (1 g, 5 a).
Over the course of five seasons in the ECHL, the native of Cross Lake, MB, has appeared in 167 games with the Stingrays, Kansas City Mavericks, and Greenville Swamp Rabbits, scoring 81 points (41 g, 40 a).
During that time, he has also skated in 43 AHL games, recording three points (2 g, 1 a) and 145 PIM with the Bears, Ontario Reign, and Charlotte Checkers.

HARTFORD WOLF PACK AGREE TO TERMS WITH D ANTHONY KEHRER
HARTFORD, CT – New York Rangers Associate General Manager and Hartford Wolf Pack General Manager Ryan Martin announced today that the club has signed defenseman Anthony Kehrer to a one-year contract for the 2026-27 season.
Kehrer, 24, skated in seven games with the AHL’s Springfield Thunderbirds a season ago.
Prior to turning pro, Kehrer skated in 166 career NCAA games over the course of five seasons with the Univ. of Wisconsin. As a member of the Badgers, Kehrer recorded 32 points (5 g, 27 a). He served as an alternate captain for the program during the 2024-25 season.
The native of Winnipeg, MB, was awarded the B1G’s Sportsmanship Award following the 2024-25 campaign.
He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Thunderbirds on Mar. 21, 2025.

HARTFORD WOLF PACK SIGN F LUCAS VANROBOYS
HARTFORD, CT – New York Rangers Associate General Manager and Hartford Wolf Pack General Manager Ryan Martin announced today that the club has signed forward Lucas Vanroboys to a one-year contract for the 2026-27 season.
Vanroboys, 26, split the 2025-26 season between the AHL’s San Jose Barracuda and the ECHL’s Wichita Thunder. With the Barracuda, Vanroboys recorded seven points (4 g, 3 a) in 33 games. In 20 games with the Thunder, he notched 12 points (5 g, 7 a).
The native of Thamesville, ON, also skated in two Calder Cup Playoff games with the Barracuda.
Over the course of three seasons in the AHL, Vanroboys has skated in 107 games with the Barracuda, scoring 24 points (16 g, 8 a).
Prior to turning pro, the 6’2”, 190-lbs forward played five seasons of college hockey. He spent four seasons with Bentley Univ. (2019-20 – 2022-23) and one season at UMass (2023-24). In that span, he recorded 52 points (14 g, 38 a).

HARTFORD WOLF PACK INK G GABRIEL CARRIERE
HARTFORD, CT – New York Rangers Associate General Manager and Hartford Wolf Pack General Manager Ryan Martin announced today that the club has signed goaltender Gabriel Carriere to a one-year contract for the 2026-27 season.
Carriere, 25, appeared in 31 games with the AHL’s San Jose Barracuda during the 2025-26 campaign. As a member of the Barracuda, Carriere posted a record of 15-12-5 with a .896 save percentage, 2.76 goals against average, and one shutout.
He set career-high marks in games played (31), wins (15), save percentage (.896) and goals against average (2.76).
In addition to his time in San Jose, Carriere appeared in four games with the ECHL’s Wichita Thunder, going 1-3-0 with a .925 save percentage, 3.02 goals against average, and one shutout.
The native of Ottawa, ON, played four seasons of college hockey prior to joining the San Jose Sharks organization. In 89 career games at the Univ. of Vermont, Carriere went 28-50-8 with a .908 save percentage, 2.75 goals against average, and four shutouts.

HARTFORD WOLF PACK AND AHL ANNOUNCE 2026-27 REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE
HARTFORD, CT – The Hartford Wolf Pack, in conjunction with the American Hockey League (AHL), announced today the club’s full schedule for the 2026-27 season.
The club’s 30th anniversary season begins on the road on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026. The Wolf Pack will face off against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms at the PPL Center in Allentown, PA, at 7:05 p.m. This marks the second time in three seasons that the Wolf Pack open the season in Allentown.
It is also the fifth straight season in which the club will open on the road.
The Pack is back at PeoplesBank Arena on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, for the annual home opener. For the second consecutive season, the Wolf Pack will open the home portion of their schedule against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. The puck drop is set for 6:00 p.m.
Home opener weekend ends on Sunday, Oct. 11, when the Laval Rocket come to town for a 3:00 p.m. faceoff.
The Wolf Pack will see some new faces this coming season. Returning to the schedule are the Milwaukee Admirals, Rockford IceHogs, and Chicago Wolves.
It marks the first time since the 2024-25 season that the Wolf Pack will play the Admirals and IceHogs. This will be the first time the Wolf Pack and Wolves faceoff since the 2002-03 season.
The Wolf Pack will visit Rockford (1/30/27, 8:00 p.m.), Chicago (1/31/27, 4:00 p.m.), and Milwaukee (2/2/27, 8:00 p.m.) on a three-game road trip. The Admirals will visit Hartford on Nov. 21 (6:00 p.m.), the Wolves on Jan. 20 (6:30 p.m.), and the IceHogs on Mar. 3 (6:30 p.m.).
For the first time ever, the Wolf Pack will battle it out with the Hamilton Hammers. The sides will play twice against each other this season, with the first meeting coming in Hamilton on Oct. 29 (7:00 p.m.). The Hammers come to town on Mar. 10 (6:30 p.m.).
The ‘School Day Game’ is back in Hartford for the fourth consecutive season. The Wolf Pack will welcome the Charlotte Checkers to town on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 11:00 a.m.
Thanksgiving weekend returns to PeoplesBank Arena with two games on the docket. The Pack and Springfield Thunderbirds will battle it out in the ‘I-91 Rivalry, presented by Braman Pest’ on Friday, Nov. 27 at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 29, at 3:00 p.m.
The 2026-27 season concludes with two Atlantic Division showdowns. The final home game of the regular season takes place on Friday, Apr. 9, at 7:00 p.m. when the Thunderbirds come to town. The season concludes on Sunday, Apr. 11, at 3:05 p.m. when the Wolf Pack visit the Providence Bruins.
The Wolf Pack will face 15 opponents during the 2026-27 season. They’ll face each of the other six teams in the Atlantic Division, six of the eight teams in the North Division, and three of the teams in the Central Division.
Atlantic Division: Charlotte Checkers (8 GP, 4 H, 4 A), Hershey Bears (6 GP, 3 H, 3 A), Lehigh Valley Phantoms (6 GP, 3 H, 3 A), Providence Bruins (12 GP, 6 H, 6 A), Springfield Thunderbirds (12 GP, 6 H, 6 A), and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (6 GP, 3 H, 3 A).
North Division: Belleville Senators (2 GP, 1 H, 1 A), Hamilton Hammers (2 GP, 1 H, 1 A), Laval Rocket (4 GP, 2 H, 2 A), Rochester Americans (2 GP, 1 H, 1 A), Syracuse Crunch (2 GP, 1 H, 1 A), and Utica Comets (4 GP, 2 H, 2 A)
Central Division: Chicago Wolves (2 GP, 1 H, 1 A), Milwaukee Admirals (2 GP, 1 H, 1 A), and Rockford IceHogs (2 GP, 1 H, 1 A)

HARTFORD, CT – New York Rangers Associate General Manager and Hartford Wolf Pack General Manager Ryan Martin announced today that the club has re-signed defenseman Cooper Moore to a one-year contract for the 2026-27 season.
Moore, 25, recorded seven points (1 g, 6 a) in 38 games with the Wolf Pack during the 2025-26 season. He also appeared in five games with the ECHL’s Bloomington Bison, notching two assists. Moore skated in six Kelly Cup Playoff games with the Bison, scoring one goal.
Selected in the fifth round, 128th overall, by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, the native of Greenwich, CT, initially signed with the Wolf Pack on Jun. 23, 2025.
Prior to signing with the Wolf Pack, Moore played five NCAA seasons split between Quinnipiac University (2023-24 – 2024-25) and the University of North Dakota (2020-21 – 2022-23). During his colligate career, Moore skated in 163 games and recorded 63 points (11 g, 52 a).

HARTFORD WOLF PACK ANNOUNCE CLUB’S 30TH ANNIVERSARY LOGO
HARTFORD, CT – The Hartford Wolf Pack today unveiled their 30th anniversary logo and announced that the milestone will be celebrated during the 2026-27 regular season.
This logo celebrates the franchise’s history and honors its roots.
- The well-known wolf head logo is displayed prominently as a focal point of the design.
- The roman numeral ‘XXX’ is featured in the background of the logo to signify 30 years of Wolf Pack hockey.
- The distinctive waves of the primary logo are displayed at the front of the 30th anniversary logo. These waves have long been part of the Wolf Pack’s identity, paying tribute to the team name’s naval roots and the rich naval and submarine history in the state of Connecticut.
“The Hartford Wolf Pack have a rich and lengthy history in the state of Connecticut, and we look forward to celebrating that with our fans this season,” said Erik Hansen, Vice President of Business Operations for the club. “30 years is a big milestone in the American Hockey League. HARTFORD WOLF PACK RE-SIGN F ZAKARY KARPA
HARTFORD, CT – New York Rangers Associate General Manager and Hartford Wolf Pack General Manager Ryan Martin announced today that the club has re-signed forward Zakary Karpa to a one-year contract for the 2026-27 season.
Karpa, 24, recorded four points (1 g, 3 a) in 24 games with the Wolf Pack during the 2025-26 season. He also appeared in 34 games with the ECHL’s Bloomington Bison, notching 17 points (7 g, 10 a). Karpa skated in six Kelly Cup Playoff games with the Bison, scoring one assist.
Selected in the sixth round, 191st overall, by the Rangers in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, the native of Greenwich, CT, initially signed with the Wolf Pack on May 8, 2025.
Prior to signing with the Wolf Pack, Karpa skated in 117 games with Harvard University, scoring 35 points (16 g, 19 a). He served as captain of the Crimson for two seasons (2023-24, 2024-25).

HARTFORD WOLF PACK TO HOST WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON PENGUINS IN 2026-27 HOME OPENER
Clubs to meet at PeoplesBank Arena on Oct. 10
HARTFORD, CT – The Hartford Wolf Pack, in conjunction with the American Hockey League (AHL), announced today that the club will host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 6:00 p.m. at PeoplesBank Arena for the team’s 2026-27 home opener.
This is the fourth time in the franchise’s 30-year history that the Wolf Pack open the home portion of their schedule against the Penguins. The Wolf Pack hosted the Penguins in the home opener in the 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2025-26 campaigns.
The Wolf Pack are 1-1-0-1 against the Penguins when playing them in the home opener. The Pack erased a 3-0 deficit on Oct. 22, 2022, on the strength of two C.J. Smith goals, but ultimately fell 4-3 in the shootout.
A year later, on Oct. 20, 2023, the Wolf Pack blanked the Penguins 5-0 in the home opener for the 2023-24 season. Five different Wolf Pack players scored in the victory.
To open the home portion of the 2025-26 season, the Wolf Pack dropped a 5-2 decision to the Penguins on Oct. 17, 2025.
The Wolf Pack and Penguins met six times during the 2025-26 season, with the Penguins winning four of the six matchups. The Wolf Pack posted a record of 2-4-0-0 in the season series.
All-time, the Wolf Pack are 36-40-1-10-3 (W-L-T-OTL-SOL) against the Penguins. They are 20-18-6-2 (W-L-OTL-SOL) at home.

NEW YORK RANGERS AGREE TO TERMS WITH D WILLIAM TRUDEAU
NEW YORK, NY – New York Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury announced today that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman William Trudeau on a one-year contract.
Trudeau, 23, appeared in 62 games for the Laval Rocket of the American Hockey League (AHL) during the 2025-26 season. He matched his career high of eight goals and tallied 12 assists for 20 points. Among all Rocket defensemen, Trudeau ranked third in goals and fourth in assists and points. He also appeared in five postseason contests.
The Varennes, QC, native has skated in 260 games across four AHL seasons, all with Laval, and has registered 28 goals and 62 assists for 90 points. He has also appeared in 15 postseason contests and recorded three assists. During the 2024-25 season, he tied for second among all Laval defensemen in goals (5) and ranked fourth in points (19). He established career highs in assists (16) and points (24) during the 2023-24 season. Prior to playing professionally, the 6-1, 205-pound defenseman spent three seasons skating with the Charlottetown Islanders of the QMJHL. He recorded 20 goals and 70 assists for 90 points in 166 games.
Trudeau was acquired by the Rangers from Montreal Canadiens on Jun. 26.
