The Wolf Pack will be having their annual Bowl-A-Thon for the benefit of Connecticut Special Olympics on Sunday, November 8th. We have been involved in helping this organization for many years before even starting Howlings. We thought it might be a fun and beneficial thing to do for Connecticut Special Olympics and the Wolf Pack, if we could put together at least two teams of Howlings readers who wanted to bowl, meet the players and help out a very worthwhile cause.
Each team needs to raise a minimum of $200 in order to participate in the event. But to us, that's not good enough! There has always been a Grand Prize awarded each year to the team that raises the most amount of money. I'm not sure what the record for most money raised by a team is, but how cool would it be if we were able to not only beat that record, but smash it to hell. Howlers, It would be a great accomplishment and speak very highly of The Howlings community if we could accomplish such a lofty task.
I’m up for the challenge… Are you?
If you need a little inspiration, (minus the mascot for whatever baseball team this is…you get the idea…), check this out!
So…you've seen the video…you've heard my plea…let’s go out there and get a couple of teams together and make the lives of some unfortunate young people a whole lot better…
Who's with me?
