Hartford_puck Don’t ‘cha just love it when the Rangers / Wolf Pack think about you the fan and at the same time are looking at filling the house? Well, we do. That’s why Howlings was excited to pass along this release from the team about this nice promotion that we were just notified about?

WOLF PACK’S OCTOBER 11TH SEASON OPENER IS “EVERYONE’S A KID” NIGHT
* * * *
All Fans Can Buy Tickets for $10 each, Starting September 19th

Northland AEG announced today that, for the second straight year, the Hartford Wolf Pack’s season opener at the XL Center will be designated “Everyone’s a Kid Night”. All fans can purchase tickets for that game, which takes place Saturday, October 11th vs. the Springfield Falcons (7:00 faceoff), at the kids’ price of $10 each.

Tickets for the October 11th game will go on sale next Friday, September 19th, at 10:00 AM at all Ticketmaster locations, including Macy’s at the Buckland Hills Mall and at the Westfarms Mall. Tickets may also be charged by phone at (860) 525-4500, (203) 744-8100, (203) 624-0033 or (413) 733-2500, and on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com.

At last season’s “Everyone’s a Kid Night” home opener, the Wolf Pack filled the XL Center with a sellout crowd of 9,769.

    9,769 is considered a sell out? Is that because they block off the upper areas?
    I thought 12,000+ was a sell out (like the night they retired the Whalers jerseys for Ulf and Kevin)

    9769 is a sellout for exactly the reason that you mentioned. The team has the capacity to increase the amount of available tickets if they needed to by, again doing what you suggest, and raising the curtains. Remember a sell out isn’t the number of seat in the arena it’s the number of tickets made available to purchase.
    Thanks for writing…
