Northland AEG announced today that the Hartford Wolf Pack Community Foundation’s annual “Tip-a-Player” Dinner and Sports Carnival generated net proceeds of $41,500.

The Tip-a-Player event was held January 31 at the XL Center, and the beneficiary was the Sports Association at Gaylord Hospital. Every dollar raised goes directly to benefit the patients at Gaylord and persons with physical disabilities, through specialized programs and adaptive sports.

Nearly 400 people attended the event, which featured food from 17 Hartford-area restaurants.

This year’s edition was the seventh annual Tip-a-Player, and over its history, the benefit has raised over $325,000 for Gaylord.

Tip-a-Player features the Wolf Pack players acting as waiters, helping to serve dinner to guests while performing various stunts and dares in exchange for “tips”.
