SCOUTS HONOR

Hartford Wolf Pack CT LotteryThe Hartford Wolf Pack will join with The Connecticut Rivers Council Boy Scouts of America for a “Boy Scout Celebration Night” at the Wolf Pack’s home game Saturday, March 27 vs. the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at the XL Center.

The night will be a tribute to the Boy Scouts’ 100th anniversary.  The Wolf Pack will be wearing Boy Scout specialty jerseys in both the March 27 game and in their home game the night before, Friday, March 26 vs. the Adirondack Phantoms, and those jerseys will be auctioned at the Boy Scout Celebration Night game.  Proceeds from the auction will benefit The Connecticut Rivers Council.

Additionally, The Connecticut Rivers Council Boy Scouts of America has set a goal of collecting 10,000 pairs of glasses and cell phones, to be donated to the Lions Club of Hebron, which annually collects eye glasses to help the needy.  As the Boy Scouts celebrate their 100th anniversary the boys have taken on this state wide “service project”, exercising citizenship, giving to their communities and helping those with urgent needs.  Boy Scouts will be on hand in the XL Center Atrium at Boy Scout Celebration Night, collecting any donations of eyeglasses and cell phones that fans might see fit to contribute to the cause.
