Will Play Rome 1/1/11 in Danbury
Today at the Danbury Ice Arena, in Danbury, Connecticut, Danbury Whalers, Senior Partner & President, Alan Friedman and Rome Frenzy Owner & General Manager, Brian Hall announced that the two organizations have agreed to switch the Danbury at Rome game on Sunday, 2/6/11 in Rome to Danbury to be played on New Year’s Day Saturday, 1/1/11 at the Danbury Ice Arena.
The team has set a special game for this game at 6 pm.
Alan Friedman stated, “We saw an opportunity on how we can bring another event to the greatest fans in the world and we went for it.”
Tickets for this game are available through the team and will be through the team website next week. Prices for the game remain the same at $14 & $12 for adults and $8 for kids.
As this is an added game, this is not included in the season ticket holders plan. Season ticket holders can reserve their seats through the team ticket office at 973-713-7547 or email at hsorcher@thedanburywhalers.com.
Look for a special TBA promotion on this night.
With the University of Connecticut football team playing that night at 8:45 PM in the Fiesta Bowl, the team has set the special game time for 6 pm.
