GREENVILLE, SC – The Greenville Road Warriors ECHL hockey club announced today that it will begin its 2011 training camp on Monday, October 3. Camp concludes on Thursday, October 13 before the Road Warriors begin regular season play the next night against Wheeling.
The 2011-12 Road Warriors will take to the ice for the first time for a 10:00 a.m. practice at The Pavilion on Monday, October 3. Practice is scheduled to last until 11:30 a.m. and will be open to the public. The Road Warriors will also host their annual media open house that morning with full access given to media in attendance as well as interviews with Head Coach Dean Stork and Road Warriors players.
The camp then shifts to the BI-LO Center for the remainder of the on-ice sessions. The Road Warriors will have three practices on their home ice before opening up their preseason schedule. They will host the South Carolina Stingrays on Friday, October 7 at 7:35 p.m. at the BI-LO Center then travel to North Charleston for the exhibition finale on Saturday, October 8 at 7:00 p.m. Individual tickets to the home preseason game are on sale now and cost $8 for adults and $6 for children.

Friday, Oct. 7 – Road Warriors vs. South Carolina Stingrays at 7:35 pm.
Saturday, Oct. 8 – Road Warriors at South Carolina Stingrays at 7pm
Sunday, October 9 – No on-ice session scheduled.
Monday, October 10 – 10:00 a.m. practice at The BI-LO Center
Tuesday, October 11 – 10:00 a.m. practice at The BI-LO Center
Wednesday, October 12 – 10:00 a.m. practice at The BI-LO Center
Thursday, October 13 – 10:00 a.m. practice at The BI-LO Center
