GREENVILLE, SC – The Greenville Road Warriors open their longest home stand of the season, eight games, tonight against the Florida Everblades. Game time is set for 7:35 p.m. at the BI-LO Center.
The Road Warriors (1-3-0) host Florida (2-2-1) tonight in the first of six games between the clubs at the BI-LO Center this season. Greenville went 10-2-3 against the Everblades in the 2010-11 season which included a 5-1-1 mark on home ice. For the first meeting between the clubs this season, special teams play could have a big role in determining the outcome. The Road Warriors enter the game with the sixth best power play in the league at 23.5 percent while Florida is 19th out of 20 on the penalty kill at 70.4 percent. The Everblades are in the midst of a nine-game road trip on which they are 1-2-0 so far.
