GREENVILLE, SC – Today the Greenville Road Warriors finish off a weekend three-in-three by paying a visit to the South Carolina Stingrays at the North Charleston Coliseum.

The Road Warriors (14-8-1) visit South Carolina (14-11-1) tonight for the sixth of 16 scheduled meetings between the clubs. Fans can follow the action by watching live on America One or listening at www.greenvilleroadwarriors.com. Greenville is looking for its first win of the season in North Charleston after suffering a 4-1 setback in their first trip to the Lowcountry on November 27. The Stingrays, meanwhile, are trying to bounce back after a 1-0 setback at home against Gwinnett last night that sent them to four straight losses on home ice. In the Battle of the Palmetto State this season, the home team is 5-0-0 with a combined 17-5 scoring advantage over the visitors.

Who: Greenville Road Warriors at South Carolina Stingrays
What: Away Game #10, Season Game #24
When: 4:00 p.m.
Where: North Charleston Coliseum, 5001 Coliseum Dr., North Charleston, SC 29418

NOTEWORTHY:

  • Greenville has the best road power play in the ECHL at 32.4 percent. Their 12 PPG on the road are fourth most while the 37 PP chances are the fewest.
  • Rookie Kale Kerbashian has found a knack for scoring big goals for the Road Warriors. Of the four that he has scored on the season, two have been game winners.
  • Greenville is 10-3-1 since November 10 and have out-scored opponents 46-34 over that span.
  • Justin Bowers is tied for the team lead in points against South Carolina with 1G, 5A. He has, though, been held without a point in the last two games against SC.
  • Greenville’s offense has been clicking at a rate of 4.5 goals per game over its last four road games. Prior to that it was held to one goal in back-to-back losses in Florida and South Carolina.
