Tonight the Greenville Road Warriors wrap up a stretch of 13 consecutive games against South Division foes by visiting the Low-Country to take on the South Carolina Stingrays.
The Road Warriors (26-17-3, 55 pts.) visit South Carolina (27-19-12, 56 pts.) today for the ninth of 16 meetings this season between the clubs. Fans can follow the action by watching live on America One or listening at Greenvilleroadwarriors.com. The Road Warriors are 6-2-0 this season against the Stingrays and 15-10-0 overall in their history against South Carolina. Tonight is the only time the Road Warriors and Stingrays will meet in the month of February before squaring off seven times, out of Greenville’s 14 games, in March. Greenville has won one of the previous three meetings in North Charleston, but in each of the two losses has been limited to one goal. The Stingrays’ 50 goals allowed at home are the fewest in the Eastern Conference and third fewest in the league. Greenville’s 74 road goals, meanwhile, are second most in the Eastern Conference and seventh most in the league.

Greenville’s 145 goals scored are fourth most in the Eastern Conference. The Road Warriors have been limited to six goals in their three prior games at South Carolina.
Greenville has given up two power play goals in each of its last two games. It’s the second time that has happened this season and first since Oct. 28 and 29 vs. Florida (both wins).
Greenville was 3-for-6 on the power play against South Carolina on Nov. 10 (first meeting of season). Since then the Road Warriors are 0-for-17 on the PP against the ‘Rays.
