HARTFORD, August 9, 2017: Spectra, operators of the XL Center and Hartford Wolf Pack, today announced the preseason schedule for the Wolf Pack’s 2017-18 season.
The Wolf Pack will play a two-game preseason slate, with the opponent in both contests being their in-state rivals the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
The Wolf Pack’s one local home preseason game is Thursday, September 28, when they and the Sound Tigers do battle at Trinity College’s Koeppel Community Sports Center at 7:00 PM. Donations will be accepted at the door in lieu of an admission charge, benefitting the Ryan Gordon/Hartford Wolf Pack Community Scholars Fund. The fund memorializes young fan Ryan Gordon, who passed away in 2006 and asked that a portion of the monies set aside for his college education be donated to the Hartford Wolf Pack Community Foundation. Suggested donation is $5 per person. The Koeppel Community Sports Center is located at 175 New Britain Ave. in Hartford.
The Wolf Pack and Sound Tigers will then have a rematch on Saturday, September 30 in Worcester, MA. That game will also be a 7:00 face-off and will be played at the Fidelity Bank Worcester Ice Center. The Fidelity Bank Worcester Ice Center is the home practice facility of the Worcester Railers of the ECHL and is located at 104 Harding St. in Worcester. Ticket information for the September 30 game in Worcester will be available at a later date. Visit Railershc.com for updates.
