HARTFORD, October 11, 2017: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Chris Drury announced today that the parent New York Rangers have reassigned forward Malte Stromwall from the Wolf Pack to its ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Swamp Rabbits.

Stromwall, a second-year pro who has yet to see any action for the Wolf Pack this season, skated in 44 games with the Wolf Pack as a rookie in 2016-17. The 23-year-old Lulea, Sweden native recorded two goals and four assists for six points, along with 20 PIM, in those 44 AHL contests.

Stromwall signed with the Rangers as a free agent April 17, 2016.

The Wolf Pack’s next action is a home game this Friday night, October 13, when the Toronto Marlies come to the XL Center. Faceoff is 7:15 PM, and, as at all Friday-night Wolf Pack home games, fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and $2 beers through the start of the second period, presented by Dave & Buster’s.

Tickets for all 2017-18 Wolf Pack home games are on sale now at the Agera Energy Ticket Office at the XL Center, online at www.hartfordwolfpack.com and by phone at (877) 522-8499.
