Greenville, SC – In light of recent events, the Swamp Rabbits have decided to help support the fundraising for the Humboldt Broncos players and families. On Thursday, the Swamp Rabbits annual locker room sale will feature many items including new and used player equipment, merchandise, and game-worn jerseys.
At the sale, all proceeds from the New York Rangers game-worn jerseys will be donated back to the Broncos fundraising efforts. In addition, fans will be able to make additional monetary donations after any purchase made in the Hop Shop that day.
The annual locker room sale will begin at 9 a.m. and run through 1 p.m. this Thursday, Apr. 12. Before the sale check out the Hop Shop online at SwampRabbits.com/shop (Additional products not listed online also be on sale).
“After the tragedy in Humboldt, we knew as an organization we wanted to come together and support their team and community. We have a close connection to the situation with Bretton’s family being directly involved and we want to help give back as much as we possibly can,” said Swamp Rabbits CEO and President Steve Donner. “
The Swamp Rabbits also signed a goalie stick in Atlanta prior to the season finale on Saturday night and assisted the Gladiators in raising $4,200 for the victims of the Humboldt Broncos bus crash. In just three days, nearly 90,000 individuals have donated to the Broncos GoFundMe page created by a Humboldt resident. The campaign has raised over six million dollars in that short time.
