STRIVING FOR IMMORTALITY NEXT SEASON:
Hartford has won at least 40 games for the fifth consecutive season, one shy of the AHL record set by the Cleveland Barons from 1947-53.
SOME THINGS NEVER CHANGE:
Ex-Ranger and Wolf Pack D-Man Dale Purinton is back to watching games from the Press Box. “Diesel” has been suspended for two games for accumulating four game misconducts this season. This is after the Ft. Wayne Indiana native has already served a 25 game suspension earlier this season.
