Swamp Rabbits rookie, Dallas Gerads, earns first call-up to the AHL

GREENVILLE, SC – The Greenville Swamp Rabbits, ECHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers, announced today that forward Dallas Gerads had signed a professional tryout with the AHL’s Cleveland Monsters.
Gerads, 25, advances to the AHL for the first time in his career amidst his rookie campaign that has yielded 14 points (4g, 10a) in 37 games for Minnesota State Maverick. The Blaine, MN native appeared in 125 games for his collegiate side and totaled 79 points (36g, 43a) in his four seasons.
The Swamp Rabbits rematch with the Atlanta Gladiators at 7:05 PM at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville. Greenville hosts Stick It To Cancer Night presented by Bon Secours and Plumbing in Pink and will wear special cancer awareness jerseys that will be auctioned in a live postgame auction to raise money for the American Cancer Society and the Cancer Survivors Park. In addition, the first 2,000 fans will receive a free rally towel courtesy of Bon Secours.
