It was without a doubt the most positive atmosphere for any of the five Media day events that we’ve been a part of with the Hartford Wolf Pack.
Rather than bore you with my iterpretation of what was said, we’ll just give you a quick taste of what was said both by the principals involved and we got a few quick words with many of the players about what their goals are for the upcoming season.
We’ll start with it the way they did. Up first, Howard Baldwin.
Rangers Assistant GM and Wolf Pack GM, Jim Schoenfeld
Wolf Pack / Whale Head Coach, Ken Gernander
AEG Executive Chuck Steedman
From the players, we start with perhaps the top prospect in Hartford, Dale Weise.
Hartford’s version of Sean Avery, Devin DiDiomete
Left wing, Brodie Dupont
Goaltender, Chad Johnson
Team Enforcer, Justin “Scary” Soryal
One of the most talked about prospects in Hartford, Evgeny Grachev.
Here’s a laugh as yours truly asks Jim Schoenfeld how he feels he’s changed over the last couple of seasons.
Lastly, Howard Baldwin talks about the difference between starting a team now in Hartford as opposed to when he did it as a young man.

Schoenfeld and Baldwin don’t work.
Try it again… They should work now…
When I click on play for Baldwin it takes me to his picture, when I click on Schoenfeld it starts playing for about 1 second then says 404 file not found.
Are you clicking the little button beneath the pictures? They are all working on my computer. I even tried another in my office and they work from there too. Try cleaning out the cookies on your computer and try again… I’m not the most technical wiz in the world, but like I said, they’re working…
I can’t get the first two to work, either.
Nat, The two at the top of the page? I just checked them again…they’re all playing on my computer…
Yup. I can get every other one to work, except those two. When you click the arrow to play Baldwin’s quote, skips over to a picture of him. I’m not clicking the picture, but the arrow itself.
That’s REALLY odd… It works perfectly on mine. Are you using Firefox or IE? Mine works fine in IE, but for some reason the arrows don’t eve nshow up in Firefox. I wish I was a technical whiz, but I’m not…
