GREENVILLE, SC – Tonight the Greenville Road Warriors host the Reading Royals in their final game before a brief break over the Christmas holiday. The Road Warriors will try to extend their streak of six straight games with at least one standings point (4-0-2).
The Road Warriors (15-8-2) host Reading (11-12-5) tonight for the fourth of six scheduled meetings between the clubs. Fans can follow the action by watching live on America One or listening at greenvilleroadwarriors.com. Greenville is looking for its first win of the season against Reading after suffering 3-2 and 7-3 setbacks in Greenville on October 15 and November 4, respectively and the overtime defeat last night. The Royals, meanwhile, have won three in a row and four of their last five after enduring a nine-game winless streak from November 18 to Dec. 8. The Road Warriors are averaging 43.67 shots per game against Reading this season but have been limited to seven goals in the three games.
