hartford_wolf_pack_98b The Wolf Pack have announced that Matthew Ford has been released from his Professional Try-Out contract and will in all likelihood be heading back to Charlotte. Ford has not played much during this call-up. Ford, a rookie out of the University of Wisconsin, has skated in 25 games this year with the Wolf Pack, scoring one goal and adding two assists for three points and registering 10 penalty minutes.  In 21 games with the Wolf Pack’s ECHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers, Ford has totaled 16 goals and 15 assists for 31 points, along with 25 PIM.

Mitch Beck

Mitch Beck was a standup comedian and radio personality for over 25 years. His passion for hockey started with Team USA in 1980 when they defeated the Soviets at Lake Placid. He has also worked in hockey as a coach and administrator. He also works for USA Hockey as a Coach Developer. Mitch has been reporting on the New York Rangers, and exclusively on the Hartford Wolf Pack since 2005.
