Congratulations to former Wolf Pack defensive stalwart and all around good guy, David Liffiton. The 6’3″ Windsor, Ontario native is now healthy and has signed to play this season with Esbjerg of the Danish Hockey League.

Howlings caught up with the former Wolf Pack and Ranger defenseman as he was preparing to start a new season with his new team.  “My goal is still the same it has been since I was about 5 years old,” Liffiton said. “To play in the NHL.”

Liffiton will not come to Hartford or any other team in 2008 – 2009 but will play the entire season in Denmark.  “I am fully committed here for this season. I’m just taking this year to let my injuries heal up completely and work on my skating and skills over here.” He said.  I play my first game on Friday.”
The new envionment is certainly conducive to success. “Things have been going really well so far. I like the city and the people are very friendly and happy.  It’s really nice to be back on the ice with a team really excited to be playing on Friday”
