DANDENAULT RETIRES

Hartford Wolf Pack CT Lottery Howlings has learned that Mathieu Dandenault has retired. Technically he was released from his Professional Try-Out contract. We will have more on this after 5pm eastern including our interview with the newest Wolf Pack player, Kris Newbury and head coach Ken Gernander discusses the moves made by the Rangers organization at the trade deadline and any possible future moves by the team.

WOLF PACK RELEASE MATHIEU DANDENAULT FROM PTO

Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the team has released defenseman Mathieu Dandenault from his Professional Tryout (PTO) agreement.

Dandenault had skated in 19 games since signing with the Wolf Pack October 21, and had totaled one goal and one assist for two points, along with ten penalty minutes and a -2.

The Wolf Pack return to action this Saturday night, March 6, when they travel to Hamilton to take on the Bulldogs in a 7:00 game (WTIC HD-2, www.hartfordwolfpack.com, www.wtic.com).  The Wolf Pack are next on home ice Saturday, March 13, hosting the Lowell Devils in a 7:00 game.

Mitch Beck was a standup comedian and radio personality for over 25 years. His passion for hockey started with Team USA in 1980 when they defeated the Soviets at Lake Placid. He has also worked in hockey as a coach and administrator. He also works for USA Hockey as a Coach Developer. Mitch has been reporting on the New York Rangers, and exclusively on the Hartford Wolf Pack since 2005.
